About my pictures
I don´t know why but I always wanted to travel, I always wanted to see the world. To know what else is out there that I did not know before. So I started to travel. Not as a journalist, more like an anonymous but curious human, open for everything to come.
My pictures show fragments of the multi coloured world we live in. They are statements of a world that is so hard to understand, a world that is so full of contrasts. And the more contrasts I find, the more I am proud to be a tiny part of the full picture. Because this is our house. This is the world we live in. We don´t have another one. And we don´t need another one. This one is imperfectly perfect.
About me
It’s somehow strange but as long as I can remember I put myself second. It is like as I would witness my environment from a distance, from a second row. Maybe that is why my parents (especially my mother) and my brother could not understand why I was so different from them. But I could understand them. Because I felt them. At the age of 16 I discovered that I can feel through my newly bought SLR as well. It is hard for me to describe but when I release the shutter it is more like that I feel the picture in front of me instead of seeing it in the classic sense.
With this cross section of my photography I hope I can share some of my feelings with you.
